Here in Port Alberni there is one road in, and one road out (paved ones, anyways). Highway 4 will bring you right into Port Alberni. When driving on Highway 19 on the East side of Vancouver Island, take Exit #51 through Coombs or #60, which is also marked “Pacific Rim Highway”. Follow Highway 4 through Coombs, Whiskey Creek, Cathedral Grove, and over the hump into the Alberni Valley.
If using Google Maps, just type in “Port Alberni Fall Fair Grounds” and Google will take it from there (you still must steer, don’t forget to steer).

There are lots of accommodation options in Port Alberni, including our onsite camping. Stay onsite and don’t miss a thing. Full details on camping can be found here.
There are also a few other campgrounds in the area, including Lighthouse Campground, Timberlodge & RV Campground, Loon Lake Campground, and more further outside of town.
Port Alberni also many hotels and motels. A simple Google search will give you tons of options. The options closest to the festival grounds are the Best Western and Riverside Motel.

We highly recommend walking, biking, or taking the bus to the festival so you can fully enjoy your time there and not worry about parking, driving home, or collecting your car in the morning.
That said, there will be free parking available adjacent to the festival grounds next to the Glenwood Centre. Please check out our festival map for more details.
